I have been involved with art most of my life.
When I graduated from Central Art Academy,
I worked as a graphic designer in an advertising agency.
Then as an Art Director for a TV/Radio station for 13 years.
My husband, Ray, and I opened an art/framing shop in 1971,
we sold it in 1996. I taught painting classes and Ray did the framing.
Tole painters will understand,
I received my CDA at Columbus, Ohio in 1987.
That was the year the Society of Decorative Painters had their convention
in Columbus, Ohio.
I am a member of our local chapter Greater Cincinnati Decorative Artists.
I designed and maintain their website, brochures, and flyers.
Every one in my family is talented.
My Mother was always sewing or designing something.
My aunt Joyce, Sharon's Mother is a wonderful watercolor and acrylic artist.
My cousin is published artist, Sharon Saylor Chinn.
She and I had Sharon & Gayle's Publications for many years
I am now painting, teaching, and selling Watercolors.
Thank you for stopping by and visiting.
